Leeds United are reportedly interested in making a move for AZ Alkmaar left-back Milos Kerkez, with two other Premier League clubs also in the mix.
The Lowdown: Kerkez impressing in Netherlands
The 19-year-old has already become a regular presence for his current club, making 14 starts in the Eredivisie this season and chipping in with two goals.
Kerkez is considered a bright young talent who already has four caps to his name for Hungary’s senior side, and he is current contracted at AZ until 2026.
However, it looks as though a move to England could be on the cards in the near future.
The Latest: Leeds interested in Kerkez
According to talkSPORT, Leeds are one of the clubs interested in acquiring Kerkez’s signature, with Bournemouth and Leicester City also in the hunt for the defender, who could cost in excess of £15m.
The media outlet tweeted on Thursday afternoon:
“BREAKING: Bournemouth, Leeds and Leicester are interested in AZ Alkmaar left-back Milos Kerkez. The Hungarian international is valued at more than £15m. -talkSPORT sources understand.”

The Verdict: Further left-back quality
Kerkez could be a shrewd prospective signing by Leeds, coming in as a player with long-term potential but who can already do a job at a high level, as he has shown in the Eredivisie.
The Whites have been badly in need of bolstering their left-back options and this would be another positive in that respect, with Maxi Wober having already signed this week.
This could potentially spell bad news for Junior Firpo should Kerkez make the move to Elland Road, following a disappointing spell at the club for the former Barcelona left-back, who has struggled with form and injuries during his time in Yorkshire.
