A number of Crystal Palace supporters have been on social media discussing which player should win the club’s ManBetX Player of the Month award for February.

The Eagles only played four matches last month, losing to Sheffield United and Everton in the Premier League before beating Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Christian Benteke, Patrick van Aanholt and Jordan Ayew were on the scoresheet last month, and all three have been mentioned by the supporters.

Indeed, Van Aanholt and Benteke proved popular choices.

However, there were more shouts for Ayew, who scored the winner against Brighton at the Amex on Saturday afternoon.

Some supporters were also keen to mention goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, who has now kept clean sheets in his last two Premier League appearances.

Next up for Palace is a home game against Watford on Saturday afternoon before travelling to Bournemouth and Liverpool in their final two games of March.
