Musah forged his reputation in the middle of the park, with enough ability shown there to spend time in the academy system at Arsenal before moving on to La Liga side Valencia. A summer transfer from Spain to Italy now has him at San Siro, with Milan choosing to field the exciting youngster in midfield and right-back berths.

Quizzed by on his best role, Musah said: “I think I perform better in midfield as a mezzala, when I can run along the right wing. I like that role a lot.”
He added when asked if his ability to be a “wild card” in several roles is a useful skill to have: “Yes, it has always been something present within me to play in many positions due to the skills I have and I try to do it in the best possible way. If the coach asks me to do something, I try to do my best to help the team.”

Musah has taken in 14 appearances for Milan this season, but he is yet to celebrate hitting the back of the net. He said of his hopes to break that duck in a Serie A clash with Fiorentina: “I want to score my first goal for the Rossoneri as soon as possible but the most important thing will be to win on Saturday.”
